Privacy

Last updated November 3, 2026.

buttonrace.com is one shared tug-of-war. This page says what the site keeps.

The bar

There are no accounts. Clicks only change the shared bar in memory: one accepted click adds one to red or one to blue, and that is all the game stores. Restarting the server zeros the bar. Nothing about a click is written into a database.

Server logs

The machine that hosts the site keeps ordinary connection logs: an IP address, the time, and the page requested. Those logs are used to run the site.

Ads and cookies

The home page loads Google AdSense. Google uses cookies to serve and measure ads. Google’s advertising cookies let Google and its partners show ads based on visits to this site and other sites.

You can turn off personalized ads in Google’s Ads Settings. You can opt out of some third-party vendors’ cookies for personalized ads at optout.aboutads.info. Google describes those cookies at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
